Project Details
The artworks unique design was fully sculpted in our digital
sculpting software using a physical model provided by the artist as
reference. The digital sculpture was then split into several
sections and then exported to our 3d printers to be duplicated in
a wax based resin. Each of the resin parts were then coated in a
ceramic and silica shell, melted out and then cast in bronze.
The bronze parts were then welded together and the seams
cleaned and filled. The base of the sculpture is constructed of
powder coated steel/stainless steel. The bronze is painted with
automotive finishes.
